Forget Paris

I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for Fall clothes!  I walked into F21 today and was totally astonished by the amazing colors and textures!  I have to admit, My name is Roxanne and I am a jacket-aholic.  Even though we are finally experiencing cooler weather (yes, 90 degrees is cool when you've have nothing but over 105 for 70 days straight) it doesn't warrant the amount of jackets I own.  I picked up this lovely dress and a black blazer today.  Swoon!

I've been wanting to take pictures in front of this tiny Eiffel Tower for ages now and I think it matches perfectly with this dress.  The only thing missing is espresso and chocolate!

Dear Blue Faux-Wayfarers

Sometimes I wish that I never had to get rid of anything in my closet.  I look through old photos and see all those lovely dresses I once owned or that killer gold vest that I never wore enough and think "if only I had held onto it!"  Sunglasses circulate through my life even more frequently (mostly because I tend to buy cheap ones that break).  Upon finding photos of these awesome light blue faux-Wayfarers from 3 years ago I am suddenly missing them ever so much.  I believe I adopted them from my brother (sorry about stealing and breaking them bro!) and wore the hell out of them before one of the sides popped off.  I truly believe that everyone looks good in the Wayfarer style and black ones are so classic that even my Grandma would totally rock them!

I only became aware of the lovely Marlo Thomas about two years ago when my mom gave Leanne and I the first Season of "That Girl". I instantly fell in love with her hair! She is so completely adorable and I just found out that she has her own video blog called "Mondays with Marlo."  After all these years she still looks amazing!

Autumn Colors

Every time I go to the grocery store I can't help but want all the holidays gourds they have displayed outside.  Some of them I have never seen before (the grocery store I go to now is a bit fancier than the one I went to in California).  I can't help but think of their colors when I get dresses in the morning and so have been wearing oranges, browns, and dark green.  Of how I love fall colors!

My sister made these letters out of cardboard and they are a wonderful greeting each time we walk into our room.
