My first digital camera was given to me by my parents and I'm pretty sure my mom picked it out because it was blue (I think I would have made the same choice at the time!). Unfortunately it stored only about 15 photos and the batteries couldn't handle more than two photos with a flash. The one thing I loved about it though was the uncertainty of what the photos would look like, it produced some fantastic colors and occasionally had some depth of field. So crazy! Eventually I upgraded to something a little bit nicer, but I'll never forget that little blue camera.

Dear Blue Faux-Wayfarers
Sometimes I wish that I never had to get rid of anything in my closet. I look through old photos and see all those lovely dresses I once owned or that killer gold vest that I never wore enough and think "if only I had held onto it!" Sunglasses circulate through my life even more frequently (mostly because I tend to buy cheap ones that break). Upon finding photos of these awesome light blue faux-Wayfarers from 3 years ago I am suddenly missing them ever so much. I believe I adopted them from my brother (sorry about stealing and breaking them bro!) and wore the hell out of them before one of the sides popped off. I truly believe that everyone looks good in the Wayfarer style and black ones are so classic that even my Grandma would totally rock them!
What do you think darlings? What clothing items/accessories do you miss dearly?

Old Photos

I'm sitting at a coffee shop trying to get some sort of inspiration for a blog post. I decided to take some pictures with photo booth and then I started looking through the old pictures I have in there from about two years ago up until a couple months ago. Good stuff. It's funny how much we change without realizing it. I always thought that people who did those "picture a day" things were a bit narcissistic, but how else are we going to remember those bad haircuts, ridiculous outfits, and what our bedroom at the time looked like?
