MK Monday
I wanted to get some of my pictures up from my Dallas trip, but a need for sleep and then some incredible tasty pancakes at Kerby Lane and work has kept me from it. So instead I would like to share this incredible amazing web series called Very Mary Kate. It is absolutely fantastic, but I would highly recommend starting from the beginning since I so very much love the first season.

World Wide Web Wednesday
- Today is the first official day of Girls Scout Cookie 2011 season. Oh how I love a good Thin Mint!
- This DIY fabric wall decal might pop up in my apartment soon.
- Looking for a friend? These people will be your besties (as long as you don't mind a little tough love).
- Miniature things are always so much more interesting. This website will make your photos look oh so tiny. I've found that pictures of landscapes taken from above tend to have the best results.
- I thought people were acting a little crazy when they were mad that their zodiac sign had changed, until I found out that I am now a Gemini. Wha wha. Here's an article on how to deal with the zodiac change.
- If it's the cold whether that's really getting you down, then this article might be of more help. Lucky for me it's warming up here in Austin.
- PANDA CAM! Because, well, why not?
- Feeling like you're missing something? Perhaps it's a connection. Even if you're not, it will provide you with hours of interesting reading.
- Don't we all need more bling in our lives? It's slightly ridiculous and totally awesome!
- Appreciate a witty sense of humor and wikipedia? Head over to the Uncyclopedia for wonderful articles on just about everything. One of my favorite articles is the one about fields, where I learned that:
It is a little known fact that fields were first developed by Chuck Norris in roughly 2000 BC. Over the next 4000ish years the cocept of fields was exported first to Greater Europa, and then to the brabarian lands of Eastasia, Oceania and Eurasia.
Thank you World Wide Web for all your outstanding websites.
It's always a gamble trying to find something truly amazing online.

Take A Minute to Stop and Look Around
This morning I walked to the Post Office to ship out a t-shirt order. I feel a sense of pride in taking the extra effort to walk or ride my bike to the Post Office, like I'm doing my part in transporting it to its new owner. This one is going to Japan so I have to leave the rest up to USPS and the Japanese Postal Service, but at least I walked it the couple of blocks so it could see Austin before it began its oversea voyage.
I enjoy walking around Austin because it seems that there is always something new to discover. For example, the other day Leanne pointed out a giant flamingo on the deck of a house I pass by quite often, but had never noticed before. Today I found a bowling ball in a tree (yes I am serious about that), a butter knife in the street partially hidden by leaves, and a shortcut through a field. Finding these things has reminded me, once again, that I should always have my camera with me.

Happy Birthday Betty!
This morning Leanne informed me today is Betty White's birthday. To celebrate we went to Mohawk where they were playing Golden Girls all night and serving the "Betty" (citrus vodka, sprite and grenadine). Yummy! They even hosted a Betty White look-a-like contest, but only one girl was brave enough to done a white wig. Now I just wish I had a TV so I could watch Golden Girls, I had no idea what I was missing out on all these years.
